CHESTERFIELD SOLDIER KILLEDMr Ernest Ellse, pawnbroker, Beetwell Street, Chesterfield, has been informed of the death of his brother, Pte Henry Martin Else, Sherwood Foresters. Aged 37 and single, Private Ellse was wounded on Easter Monday, and his death took place at one of the Canadian Casualty Stations in France. Before enlisting shortly after the outbreak of war he was in business as a plasterer and lived at Tapton View Road, Stonegravels. He had been 19 months in France.
